I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management from Texas Tech University and after college enjoyed working at a beautiful hotel. I loved working with so many different people and enjoyed what I was doing. But after our first child was born there was absolutely no way I could leave my baby and return to work. Three children later, money was extremely tight, we couldn’t afford a new car and the thought of taking any type of vacation was completely out of the question. We desperately needed all that Shaklee has to offer!
I learned about Shaklee from a friend on Facebook®. When I asked her to tell me more, she sent me a video of Roger and Sloan Barnett. I knew immediately that Shaklee was my future!
For me, it was never a question — I was going to participate in FastTRACK, the accelerated career path in Shaklee. I was determined to complete the program, even from my small mountain town in Colorado. And I was able to do it while making my family my first priority and not missing anything my children participated in. It is the most amazing feeling to know that we are building generational wealth that will support our family well into the future. And in the immediate future, we’re looking forward to going to the Mayan Riviera with Shaklee this year, our first family vacation outside of visiting our parents, and going on the Top Achievers International Trip to Kenya! We’re also taking the kids on a Disney® Cruise this year! Shaklee has forever changed our lifestyle.
I would not be where I am today without the help and support of my mom who has always been my biggest fan. She believed in my business and started her own business and became my first Business Leader! My husband, Dean, thought this opportunity sounded too good to be true and kept asking, “Well, when are you getting that $25,000 check?” He has since become a huge Shaklee fan and we are enjoying building a business together! Jim Burke (Lifetime and Presidential Master Coordinator, MN) has taught me all about the incredible products and how to create and focus on the vision of where you are going. He believed in me, encouraged me and was always there to reinforce what I believed — that I could complete FastTRACK.
I plan on continuing up the ranks in Shaklee and enjoying all the rewards — trips, cars, and large bonus checks — but to me the real reward is watching other people become healthier and happier. To watch people get excited and dream again after life has beaten them down, is just fantastic! The gift of Shaklee is the best gift you could ever give or receive.
